The IACS promote, encourage and foster the charitable and educational interests of the Persian community and interested individuals by organizing seasonal and traditional events such as Nowruz, Mehregan, Chahar-Shanbeh-Suri and Sizdah-bedar Celebrations, and Yalda Party.

Nowruz: Nowruz, in word, means “New Day”. It is the new day that starts the year, traditionally the exact astronomical beginning of the Spring. Iranians take that as the beginning of the year.
Sizdah-bedar: Sizdah-bedar is the Persian Festival of “Joy and Solidarity” celebrated on the 13th day of the Persian New Year.
Mehrgan: During the festival poems are read to glorify the program. Food is consumed and people dance to the tune of music until late in the night (about the second week of September).
Chelleh or Yalda: A celebration of Winter Solstice on December 21st.

Chahar-Shanbeh-Suri: On the eve of last Wednesday of the Persian calendar year (about the third week of March)
